Delivery Information

UK Mainland delivery on all orders under £50.00 is charged at £6.95.

UK Mainland delivery on all orders over £50.00 is FREE OF CHARGE.

Due to charges levied by our delivery agent DPD, the following postal codes are classed as Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands and are subject to an additional charge:

Northern Ireland – All BT postcodes.

Scottish Highlands – AB36-38, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1- 14, PA21-40, PA80, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50.

Scottish Islands – HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

Isle of Man – IM1-9.

Scilly Isles – TR21-25.

Channel Islands – GY & JE postcodes.

The additional cost will be £20.00 per parcel up to 30kgs in weight and it is normally a 2-3 day service. In certain situations and if more suitable we will also use Royal Mail Tracked 24 services for some of the postcodes listed above. All the above delivery prices are quoted excluding vat.

In most cases order’s for in-stock items placed before 1.00pm will be dispatched the same working day, you can then expect to receive your order the next working day. If you place your order on a Friday after 1.00pm it will be delivered the following Tuesday. This applies to UK Mainland deliveries only.

Once your order has been dispatched we will email you a tracking number. You will then be able to track your order online by visiting the DPD website (www.dpd.co.uk). If you also provide a valid email address or mobile phone number then DPD will contact you in advance by email or text advising you of the parcel delivery date and a 1hr time slot for delivery.

Refusing a delivery once the goods have left – Please note, if you refuse the delivery of goods from our chosen courier once they have been sent to you, we reserve the right to bill you for both the cost of sending the item(s) to you AND the cost of returning the item(s) to us. If you refuse an order without instructions from ourselves to do so, and it becomes lost or damaged in transit, we will not refund the value of the goods. All liability for the goods will have passed to the person who refused the delivery.

Delivery was attempted but you were out at the time – If goods are returned to us due to you not being available at the time the delivery was attempted, then we reserve the right to charge you for the return of these goods back to us & a re-delivery charge if required. We will deduct the original delivery charge AND return charge from any refund that is provided. Please note, we usually make at least 2 attempts to deliver your goods to you, and DPD will always leave a card for you to contact them if you are not in. If no contact is made with DPD about a missed delivery, then the goods will be returned to us. DPD also offer 10.30 & 12.00 next day services and also Saturday & Sunday services which are available by calling our sales team on 0121 552 8400 (an additional surcharge will apply for any of these services if required). Betco Fasteners only supplies UK customers.
