What is a cordless hog ring gun tool?
This is simply a battery-powered handheld gun used for the fastening of hog rings to netting, wire mesh or ropes. No compressor is needed; most designs need two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries (usually 18V).
Commonly firing 15-gauge C-rings or hog rings, cordless hog ringers are perfect for total mobility and portability. Common uses include agriculture, bird & pest netting, bungee ropes, cages, gabion walls, upholstery and wire fencing.
Benefits of buying a battery hog ring gun?
Buy cordless hog ringers for benefits including:
- Compressor-free – with a cordless model, the need for a compressor and trailing air lines is removed
- Improved safety – there is less likelihood of tripping, as well as easier use of ladders
- Maximum portability – move where you want effortlessly, work in remote or field locations, which are out of the reach of air hoses or power cords
- Rapid and continuous firing – a tool like this is magazine-fed and typically holds 100+ rings, which can be rapidly and continuously fired
- Reaching tight spaces – get into spaces that electric & pneumatic hog ringers struggle to reach. Tackle overhead work and awkward angles with ease
- Reduced user fatigue – the lack of needing to drag heavy hoses over many hours and the lightweight, ergonomic design reduces user fatigue
