7) Josef Kihlberg staples
This Swedish brand is a world-renowned brand of collated staples. These precision-crafted fasteners are suitable for both manual and pneumatic tools. We stock three main groupings from their selection:
- JK 53 series – these fine wire staples are primarily used in upholstery and are available in leg lengths from 9mm to 15mm. Other uses include furniture manufacturing and fabric-to-timber fixing
- JK 590 series – these are durable narrow-crown staples with leg lengths between 16mm and 32mm. This series is popular in structural framing, cabinetry, and demanding woodworking tasks where deeper penetration and a stronger hold are needed
- JK 779 series galvanised staples – these precision-formed galvanised staples are available with leg lengths of between 10mm and 16mm. These can be used in many ways, particularly in packaging
8) Narrow crown staples
These staples are commonly used for timber framing, sub-flooring, cabinetry, joinery, and securing panelling or secondary building components. Featuring the distinctive “narrow crown design”, which features a compact, slender bridge (or crown) connecting the two staple legs. This makes the fastener much less visible once driven into the material.
Examples of narrow crown staples available from us are: 690 series, 90 series, 92 series and 97 series. We also have brand narrow crown staples available, like the buy Bostitch SX5035 series and Tacwise 91 series staples

Where aesthetics matter, upholstery staples are suitable both for manufacturing and repairing furniture. They prevent damage when working with dust covers, linings, padding, soft furnishings, and even thin fabrics.
Materials used in manufacturing staple gun staples
Choose staples manufactured from galvanised steel, stainless steel or plastic.
Galvanised steel staples
We have over 100 different types of galvanised steel staples available. These all feature a protective zinc coating layer, which protects against rust. They are frequently used in outdoor work such as fencing and roofing projects.
Galvanised steel finishes are available for almost all the collated staples categories above and are routinely used in agricultural fencing, building membranes, carpet underlay fixing, decorative fabric work, exhibition displays, furniture upholstery and garden netting, etc.
Stainless steel staples
Buyers of stainless steel are ensuring ultimate protection from corrosion, which makes them perfect for outdoors and in salty and coastal settings.
Staples with stainless steel finishes available include 53 series, 71 series fine wire upholstery staples, 73 series plier staples, and narrow crown staples such as 80 series and 90 series. We also sell Firefly staples, such as Firefly stainless steel staples 12mm (boxes of 5,000) and Bostitch 92 series (in sizes from 20mm to 35mm).
Raptor plastic staples
We also have Raptor plastic staples as another option. Thickness options include 6mm, 10mm and 14mm and are available in pack sizes of 5,040. Plastic staples are popular options in boat construction, timber wrapping, and any application where metal staples are unsuitable.
